Prepare the Path Pesto
Twist your favourite sauce by adding some psylocibin mushrooms. Double this recipe to cook a big jar of magic pesto, and add to various recipes during the week. Or, gift small jars to your friends and share the love.
For one small jar of pesto:
INGREDIENTS
- Magic truffles or psylocibin mushrooms (fresh is best, but dry works too). Visit our dry magic mushrooms page to shop our selection.
- 2 cups fresh herbs to taste (parsley, basil, coriander, etc.)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (vegan version: substitute for nutritional yeast)
- ½ cup chopped walnuts or pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- Pita bread, carrot sticks, tortilla chips, etc. for dipping
- Himalayan pink salt (or regular) to taste
- Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Note: you will need a Kitchen blender for this recipe.
DIRECTIONS:
- Add all ingredients into a blender and add some water to it. Keep in mind than less is more, so add the water gradually.
- Blend the mixture and take it out when it gets a bit chunky.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Serve on pasta, pizza, or veggies- you can not go wrong with our Prepare the Path Pesto sauce.
